OVERVIEW

JobSuite is a FileMaker database application, hosted on a server on your network. It works the same on both Macs and PCs. The FileMaker platform is an ideal tool for departmental applications, and makes it easy for us to implement and customize JobSuite for you.

BACK UP PROTOCOLS

It is the customer’s responsibility to set appropriate backup protocols in place. Most customers schedule regular local backups throughout the day, and then backup to tape at night.

HARDWARE

Minimum hardware requirements to run JobSuite are listed below. Optimum performance is determined based on the number of users, the amount of data stored in JobSuite, and your hardware budget. It is certainly true that better hardware will produce better database performance. The JobSuite server should be solely dedicated to JobSuite to optimize performance and to protect your data. In our experience JobSuite will perform very well with 10 users working from a server with 1GB of RAM, an 80 Gigabyte hard drive, and a relatively new processor.
